Let’s not do 1 or 2 caves that hundreds of people are doing every day. We at Belize Inland Tours our goal is to offer unique adventures different to others and mainly away from the big crowds. Our tours are private or groups may be very small to provide visitors with an up-close and personal encounter with nature.
ABOUT THE TOUR
This activity starts near St. Herman’s Blue Hole National Park on the Hummingbird highway and exits at Nohoch Che’en Archeological Reserve (Jaguar paw), starting with a 25-minute drive through an orange orchard to the drop-in point. The trip on the back of the truck across the fruit farm to the drop-off point is incredible, spotting many birds along the way and high chances of spotting other wildlife such as coatimundi, pecaries etc.
Navigating the emerald green waters of this phenomenal place, passing through 5 different caves with a total of 7 miles, and enjoying the amazing chambers adorned with spectacular crystallized formations. The tube ride is varied, exciting, colourful, and just so serene as you make your way from cave to cave, popping out into the lush greenery between them.
During our trip, between caves 2 and 3, we will stop for a relaxing lunch, taking in the magnificent mountain and cave entrance view, with an opportunity to swim in the clear water of our beautiful river. Once we are over with our cave experience, we have our last drive of around 40 minutes back to our starting point.
